The Ubiquiti UACC-G6-Dome-FM is the flush mount accessory for the G6 Dome camera. It is a G6 Dome camera mounting accessory for recessed installation into a wall or ceiling — the camera sits back into the surface rather than standing proud of it.
Is the whole point of buying one. A dome camera on a standard bracket is an object on the ceiling; recessed into the plasterboard it reads as part of the fitting-out, which is what an architect, a hotel operator or a retail designer will ask for. It is the same argument as a downlight versus a surface batten. The trade is access: a flush mount needs a void behind the surface and makes the camera harder to get at later, so it suits new build and refurbishment rather than a retrofit into a solid soffit.
It is a 207 mm diameter polycarbonate housing, 54.3 mm deep and 301 g, available in black and white. Fitting it means cutting an aperture, so check the installation guide below for the cut-out size and the clearance needed behind before anyone puts a hole saw through a ceiling. The camera itself is ordered separately and still needs its PoE supply and a UniFi Network host.
