Product Details
The TOA TS-920RC is “a Central Unit of the Infrared Conference System that allows easy installation and flexible layout”. With TS-905 or TS-907 infrared transmitter/receivers connected, it controls the chairman and delegate units over infrared rather than cable — which is what removes the floor boxes and the trenching from a conference fit-out.
It carries an MP3 recorder that writes all conference content to a USB memory drive or to internal memory at 32 kHz and 128 kbps. There is a threefold voting function with a seven-segment result display, a feedback suppressor with AUTO, OFF and EXT settings, and an installation confirmation function that verifies the connection status of every transmitter/receiver and conference unit before a session starts.
Capacity is 192 conference units. Four infrared transmitter/receivers connect directly; with a distributor that rises to 16 units if they are all TS-905, or 12 if they are all TS-907 or a mix of the two. Inputs cover two microphone channels and three AUX channels across base and translation languages, and the unit is PC-controllable. It mounts in a 4U EIA rack space with the optional MB-TS920 bracket.
