Description
TOA TS-775 Remote Delegate Interface unit for TS-770 Series Conference System
Product Details
The TOA TS-775 is the remote delegate interface unit of the TS-770 conference system. It is designed, in TOA's words, “to allow remote parties to participate in conferences via telephone or PC connected to it”. One unit brings an off-site participant into the room's audio as though they were another delegate.
Two modes decide how the remote party's speech is switched. AUTO is voice-activated: the unit opens when the remote party speaks. MANUAL puts the decision on the talk key instead, which is the mode to choose in a room where background noise would trip the automatic switching.
Input and output are both on mini phone jacks with their own volume controls, so levels can be trimmed to whatever telephone hybrid or PC is connected. Like the rest of the series it draws its 35 V DC from the TS-770 CU central unit.
