TOA TS-771 Chairman unit for TS-770 Series Conference System
Product Details
The TOA TS-771 is the chairman unit of the TS-770 conference system. TOA describes it as a chairman unit “of which compact and lightweight design makes it easy to install and store”. The TS-770 series is TOA's analogue wired conference system. Every unit is cabled back to the TS-770 CU central unit, which powers the whole chain at 35 V DC, so there are no batteries to charge and no infrared line of sight to maintain.
Two buttons separate it from the TS-772 delegate unit. The talk button opens the microphone and mutes the unit's own loudspeaker, which is how the system avoids feedback with a speaker and a microphone sitting in the same box. The priority button takes precedence over every delegate unit and sounds a chime, so the chair can interrupt. Several chairman units can be in use at once.
The chairman unit sets how many delegate units may speak simultaneously: 1, 3 or 6. Headphone and recording outputs and a contact output are provided. The microphone is ordered separately — the TS-773 standard type or the TS-774 long type.
