The TOA SR-PP4 is a synthetic rubber protection pad that fits the edge of a Type S line array module. It fits the SR-S4L and SR-S4S.
Its purpose is head injury prevention. A Type S cabinet mounted at head height on a wall presents a hard edge at exactly the wrong level in a corridor, a foyer or a concourse; the pad covers it. Anyone specifying these speakers at low mounting heights in a public space should be adding this to the order.
