The TOA SC-615T is the transformer version of the SC-615: the same 15 W horn at 112 dB, with a line-matching transformer built in for 25 V and 70.7 V distributed systems.
Frequency response runs 280 Hz to 12.5 kHz, tuned for speech rather than music. This is the transformer version, built for 25 V and 70.7 V constant-voltage distributed lines — the usual arrangement where many speakers share one amplifier across a building or site. A tap selector on the speaker sets how much power it draws, so the load can be balanced across the run. For a direct low-impedance connection to an amplifier instead, order the version without the T.
The housing is rated IP65 against dust and water: an aluminum horn flare with powder coating, an ABS reflector and rear cover, and stainless steel bracket and fixings, which is what lets it live outdoors without the hardware rusting into the wall. A mounting bracket is supplied with the speaker. The matching low-impedance model is the SC-615.
