The TOA SC-615 is the middle horn of TOA's SC paging range: 15 W into 8 ohms at 112 dB, in an 8.74-inch flare — more reach than the SC-610 without the bulk of the 30 W SC-630.
Frequency response runs 280 Hz to 12.5 kHz, reaching a little lower than the SC-610 and tuned for speech intelligibility rather than music. This is the low-impedance version, for connecting directly to an amplifier's 8 or 16 ohm speaker output. For a 25 V or 70.7 V distributed line — the usual arrangement in a building-wide paging system — order the T version instead, which has the matching transformer built in.
The housing is rated IP65 against dust and water: an aluminum horn flare with powder coating, an ABS reflector and rear cover, and stainless steel bracket and fixings, which is what lets it live outdoors without the hardware rusting into the wall. A mounting bracket is supplied with the speaker. The matching transformer model is the SC-615T.
