The TOA SC-610T is the transformer version of the SC-610: the same compact 10 W horn and the same 110 dB output, with a line-matching transformer built in so it can sit on a 25 V or 70.7 V distributed system.
Frequency response runs 315 Hz to 12.5 kHz, tuned for speech rather than music. This is the transformer version, built for 25 V and 70.7 V constant-voltage distributed lines — the usual arrangement where many speakers share one amplifier across a building or site. A tap selector on the speaker sets how much power it draws, so the load can be balanced across the run. For a direct low-impedance connection to an amplifier instead, order the version without the T.
The housing is rated IP65 against dust and water: an aluminium horn flare with powder coating, an ABS reflector and rear cover, and stainless steel bracket and fixings, which is what lets it live outdoors without the hardware rusting into the wall. A mounting bracket is supplied with the speaker. The matching low-impedance model is the SC-610.
