TOA MT-200 200W 70V to 8Ω Transformer
Product Details
The TOA MT-200 is a 200 W matching transformer that puts an 8-ohm speaker onto a 70 V or 100 V constant-voltage distributed line.
It is what the HX-5 and HX-7 arrays need in order to join a building-wide system. Both are 8-ohm speakers with no internal transformer, so without this part they can only be wired directly to an amplifier. Taps run from 200 W down to 30 W on a 70 V line and 200 W down to 60 W on 100 V, so the load each speaker draws can be set to balance the run.
It is rated IPX4 and suited to indoor and under-eave installation, with a polypropylene cover and a stainless steel mounting bracket. To fix it to an HX-7 cabinet, add the HY-MT7 adapter; the HY-MS7 outdoor wall assemblies already carry provision for it.
