TOA HY-WM2W HX-5 Wall/Ceiling Bracket White
Product Details
The TOA HY-WM2W mounts an HX-5 series speaker close against a wall or ceiling, rather than standing it off the surface.
The reason to choose it is acoustic, not cosmetic: pulling the cabinet tight to the boundary reduces the phase interference caused by sound reflecting off the surface behind it. What it gives up is aim — there is no tilt adjustment. Where the speaker needs angling down at an audience, order the HY-WM1 version instead.
Painted steel, and TOA specifies it for indoor use only. For an outdoor or under-eave position, the stainless steel WP version is the part to order. It pairs with the HX-5W. Ordering across the range will not fit. Related parts in the same function: HY-WM2B, HY-WM2WP.
