TOA HY-CW1WP HX-5 Ceiling Bracket Outdoor Stainless Steel
Product Details
The TOA HY-CW1WP suspends an HX-5 series speaker from a ceiling and gives it a wide aiming range: 360° of horizontal rotation, and tilt to 82.5° when the speaker hangs horizontally.
Hung vertically, the tilt limit depends on the coverage mode the speaker is set to — 67.5° in 60° mode, 75° in the 15°, 30° and 45° modes — because the array physically articulates as the pattern changes. Worth checking against the aiming angle before specifying it.
Stainless steel, for outdoor and under-eave positions. TOA’s own caution applies to every stainless bracket in this range: avoid positions close to the seashore, or inside poorly ventilated swimming pool halls. Stainless steel corrodes in those atmospheres, and a corroded bracket eventually drops the speaker. It pairs with the weather-resistant speakers — HX-5B-WP and HX-5W-WP.
