Product Details
The ER-2215W is a shoulder megaphone rated at 15 W of output. The ER-2215W comes with a whistle and has a separate microphone. It can be mounted to the optional ST-16A speaker stand. The newly developed polyimide diaphragm is employed to ensure high sound quality.
Rated output is 15 W, with 23 W maximum. Audible range is approximately 400 m for voice. It runs on R14P (C) x 6 (9 V DC), giving approximately 9 hours. The signal tone is a whistle at 1.6 to 2.4 kHz.
The shoulder-strap design leaves both hands free, which is what separates this from a hand-grip megaphone when the operator is also directing people, carrying equipment or driving a vehicle. The whistle tone cuts through crowd noise at a distance where speech would not, and is the usual choice for marshalling and crowd direction. Weight is 1.2 kg.
