The TOA CS-761B is a two-way coaxial horn speaker built for outdoor music as much as announcements: a 16 cm (6-inch) cone for the low end and a 2.5 cm (1-inch) tweeter mounted coaxially above it, covering 100 Hz to 20 kHz.
That range is the reason to choose it over any paging horn. A compression horn stops around 6 to 13 kHz and sounds hard with music; this reaches a genuine 20 kHz and 100 Hz at the bottom, so a forecourt, a terrace or a stadium concourse gets music that sounds like music. Dispersion is 90° horizontal by 80° vertical, and maximum output is 117 dB with the full 60 W applied.
IP66 is a step beyond the IP65 of the CS paging horns — sealed against powerful water jets, not just the ordinary kind — and the bracket is stainless steel. Note the narrower temperature range than the CS paging speakers: 14 °F to 122 °F. Supplied in black; the same speaker in white is stocked as CS-761W.
