Description
Klipsch THX-1200-SW Black, Each
Product Details
The Klipsch THX-1200-SW is a 12" THX Ultra2 certified passive subwoofer. THX Ultra2 certification is a performance standard for large rooms — it specifies reference output at a defined listening distance, and this enclosure is certified as part of a two-subwoofer configuration.
The driver is a 12" front-firing Cerametallic cone on a cast aluminum frame with a 240oz ceramic magnet structure, in a bass-reflex cabinet with a front-firing slot port. It reaches 20Hz, producing 130dB at 30Hz and 112dB still at 15Hz (measured 1/8 space at one meter, two enclosures side by side).
Important: this is a passive subwoofer with no amplifier of its own. It must be used with the Klipsch KA-1000-THX amplifier, sold separately — no other amplifier is supported.
