Description
Klipsch RW-5802 IW Sub II White, Each
Product Details
The Klipsch RW-5802 II is an in-wall subwoofer module with dual 8" front-firing Cerametallic woofers in a sealed integrated enclosure. It fits standard 2" x 4" construction with a minimum 0.5" drywall surface, so it goes into new or existing walls without special framing.
The sealed enclosure is an MDF baffle with a reinforced composite shell. That integrated box is what guarantees performance regardless of what is behind the wall, and it minimizes sound transfer into adjacent rooms — the usual complaint with open-back in-wall bass.
Important: the RW-5802 II is a passive module and must be used with the Klipsch RSA-500 subwoofer amplifier, which is sold separately. The RSA-500 drives up to two modules, delivering 300 watts into 8 ohms (one module) or 500 watts into 4 ohms (two modules).
