Description
Klipsch RSA-500 Subwoofer Amplifier
Product Details
The RSA-500 is a dedicated subwoofer amplifier from Klipsch Professional, built to drive passive subwoofers in custom-install and commercial systems where the subwoofer has no amplifier of its own — in-wall and in-ceiling subs, landscape subs and passive cabinets in distributed systems.
It delivers 300 watts continuous into 8 ohms or 500 watts continuous into 4 ohms, with both line-level and speaker-level inputs so it can be inserted into a system whether or not the upstream processor has a dedicated subwoofer output.
An EQ switch tailors the response for different subwoofers, and the auto-on/off circuit can be set to either signal sensing or voltage trigger, which is what lets it live in a rack and behave itself without anyone touching it. Rack ears are included.
