Product Details
The Klipsch RP-8000F II is a two-way floorstanding speaker with dual 8" Cerametallic woofers, reaching 35Hz at 98dB sensitivity. It is the largest non-Atmos tower in the Reference Premiere II line — the same cabinet and drivers as the RP-8060FA II without the built-in height channel.
A 90° x 90° silicon composite hybrid Tractrix horn focuses high frequencies toward the listening position rather than the walls, and the 1" Titanium LTS vented tweeter keeps distortion low by holding the diaphragm's motion linear through its travel.
Cerametallic cone woofers are rigid and light for their mass, keeping cone break-up out of the passband; Faraday rings and aluminum shorting rings reduce distortion and raise power handling. Dual binding posts allow bi-wiring or bi-amping.
Cabinets are internally braced MDF in scratch-resistant walnut vinyl with satin-painted baffles and a magnetically attached, removable grille.
