Description
Klipsch RP-640D Black, Each
Product Details
The RP-640D is part of the Reference Premiere Designer on-wall family: Reference Premiere sound in a cabinet only 2.4" deep. It is the speaker for a room where the performance target is high and the floor space is not available.
A 1" titanium dome LTS tweeter on a 90° x 90° Tractrix® horn sits with dual 3.5" (8.89 cm) Cerametallic cone active woofers and quad 3.5" (8.89 cm) Cerametallic cone passive radiators. The Linear Travel Suspension tweeter is the same part used in the Reference Premiere box line, and the Tractrix horn focuses high frequencies toward the listening area instead of scattering them around the room.
Dual four-way keyholes mount it vertically or horizontally, tight to the wall. The included glass base turns it into a table-top or shelf speaker — useful for a center channel that has to sit on a credenza rather than hang. A wrap-around magnetic grille attaches without visible hardware, and the matte black finish is chosen to recede against contemporary interiors and electronics.
