Description
Klipsch RP-440D-SB Black, Each
Product Details
The Klipsch RP-440D-SB is a passive three-channel LCR soundbar — not a powered soundbar. Left, center and right are separate speakers in separate chambers within one cabinet, each with its own binding posts, driven by an AV receiver like any other set of speakers.
That distinction matters: it means full Reference Premiere performance and proper multichannel processing from the receiver, rather than the virtualized processing a powered bar has to use. Each channel gets a 1" titanium dome LTS tweeter on a 90° x 90° Tractrix horn, with 3.5" Cerametallic woofers — one each for left and right, two for the center.
At 42" wide and only 2.4" deep in matte black, it is designed to sit tight under a wall-mounted television. Dual four-way keyholes allow vertical or horizontal wall mounting, and a glass table base is included for shelf placement.
