Product Details
The Klipsch R-8SW is a compact 8" powered subwoofer with an all-digital 50W (150W peak) amplifier. It is the smallest subwoofer in the Reference line, intended to add low-frequency support to bookshelf or compact tower systems in rooms where a 10" or 12" would dominate.
The spun-copper IMG woofer is down-firing, which loads the driver against the floor and gives more placement freedom than a front-firing design — it can sit closer to walls or inside furniture without the output changing character.
Line/LFE inputs connect to any AV receiver subwoofer output, with volume, low-pass, phase and auto power-on controls on the amplifier plate. The cabinet is MDF in brushed black polymer veneer.
