Product Details
The Klipsch R-30C is a slim center channel with quad 3.5" spun-copper IMG woofers across a 26" cabinet only 5" tall — built to fit under a television or on a shallow shelf where a deeper center will not sit.
A 1" aluminum LTS tweeter sits on a 90° x 90° square Tractrix horn. Horn loading raises efficiency and directs high frequencies toward the listening area rather than scattering them off walls and ceiling, which is what gives Klipsch Reference speakers their characteristic clarity at low amplifier power.
Four small woofers rather than two larger ones keeps the cabinet low while preserving radiating area, and forward-firing Tractrix ports mean the speaker can be pushed back against a wall or into a cabinet without the port being blocked. The cabinet is MDF in scratch-resistant black textured wood-grain vinyl, with a removable magnetic grille and gold-plated binding posts.
