The Klipsch PSM-525-T is a full-range 5.25" professional surface-mount loudspeaker for indoor and outdoor commercial installations — the kind of speaker that ends up on a restaurant patio, a retail ceiling soffit or a covered walkway and is expected to survive there.
It uses the patented Tractrix® Hyperfold Port™, a five-step folded port design that extends effective port length for more bass output from a smaller box. The increased airflow removes chuffing and port noise and widens the dispersion pattern for larger coverage areas.
High frequencies come from a 1" titanium compression driver on a K-1200M horn/tweeter bridge with a wide-dispersion phase plug, giving even, consistent energy across a wide coverage angle rather than a hot spot under each speaker.
The multi-tap transformer covers 70V and 100V distributed systems, with a bypass position for normal 8 ohm operation where no transformer is needed. Connection is a four-pin Phoenix-style euro block. The all-weather paintable ABS enclosure is IPX6 rated, and set screws on the grille keep it on the speaker whatever the environment. This is the black finish.
