The Klipsch PRO-500T-LS is the compact landscape satellite in the Professional series: a 5" IMG woofer and 1" aluminum dome tweeter on a 105° custom Tractrix horn, in a UV-treated glass-filled ABS cabinet built to sit on a ground stake among planting.
The 105° coverage angle is deliberately wide, because outdoor listeners are spread across a garden rather than seated in one position. At 5 lbs and 6.3" wide it disappears into beds more readily than the larger PRO-650T-LS.
Selectable 70V and 100V transformer taps allow output to be balanced across a run of speakers, with an 8-ohm bypass for low-impedance installs. The PRO-10-GS 10" ground stake (part 1063447) is the matching mount, sold separately.
