Product Details
The PRO-180RPC-LCR belongs to the Klipsch Professional Reference Premiere architectural line — the step up from the standard PRO series, bringing Reference Premiere driver technology into an in-ceiling format.
It uses an 8" (16.51cm) Cerametallic woofer, angled 45° with a 1" (2.54cm) Titanium dome tweeter mated to a FEA optimized square Tractrix® horn, angled 45°. Cerametallic cones are the stiff, light material Klipsch use on the Reference Premiere box speakers for minimal cone break-up, and the Linear Travel Suspension tweeter is the same part that line uses.
This is the LCR version: left, center and right drivers in one horizontal enclosure behind a single grille.
The result is an architectural speaker that can carry the front stage of a serious home theatre, not just fill-in duty — while sitting flush behind a paintable magnetic grille.
