The PRO-18RW is a Klipsch Professional in-wall loudspeaker for custom installation — the working end of a distributed audio or home theatre system, sized to vanish into the structure.
The acoustic package is an 8" (20.32cm) IMG woofer with a 1" (2.54cm) aluminum dome tweeter mated to a 90°x90° Tractrix® horn. Klipsch put the tweeter on a Tractrix horn for the same reason they do it on the floorstanders: controlled directivity, high efficiency and low distortion.
A paintable magnetic grille finishes it flush to the surface; round and square grilles are supplied where the spec table lists them, so the same speaker suits either a traditional or a square-trim interior.
