The PRO-10SW-RK is a rock subwoofer: a long-throw 10" IMG woofer in a cabinet shaped to sit in a landscape bed. The rock form is not only cosmetic — it allows the cabinet volume a subwoofer needs for low extension and real output, while staying hidden in its surroundings.

For distributed systems it uses a transformerless dual voice coil design for 70V operation. Transformers severely limit a subwoofer's low-frequency capability, so this arrangement is the right answer for a large residential or commercial system that has to run on a 70V line. The same design supports low-impedance operation: 8 ohm stereo or 4 ohm mono.

The cabinet is rustproof UV-treated fiberglass, and the attached 4-conductor direct burial wire removes the impedance-selection switch that would otherwise be a water ingress point. The unit is IP45 rated and lab certified for year-round outdoor use. This is the sandstone finish.
