The PIC-525-T is a 5.25" professional in-ceiling speaker for 70V and 100V distributed systems, replacing the older IC-525. It is built for commercial work — retail, hospitality, transport, anywhere a lot of speakers have to cover a lot of floor evenly and keep working.
It uses the patented Tractrix® Hyperfold Port™, a five-step folded design that extends effective port length so a shallow can produces more bass than its volume suggests. The increased airflow removes chuffing and port noise, and widens the dispersion pattern for larger coverage areas — which on a commercial job means fewer speakers for the same uniformity.
Installation is via the patented Sky Hook® Pro system: once the hole is cut, four buttons click and the speaker is in. No screw gun, no torque setting to get wrong. The multi-tap transformer covers 70V and 100V, with a bypass position for normal 8 ohm operation, and connection is a four-pin Phoenix-style euro block.
A 1" titanium compression driver on a floating driver bridge with a wide-dispersion phase plug gives even, consistent energy across the coverage angle. The enclosure is all-weather paintable ABS with a metal back can, IPX5 rated for challenging environments, and both black and white paintable grilles are supplied in the box.
