The Klipsch Courtyard 4.1 is a complete landscape audio system in one box: four aimable Tractrix horn-loaded satellite speakers, a low-profile subwoofer, mounting posts with ground stakes, silicone-filled wire nuts, a hammer cap and an Allen key. It runs from the zone 2 output of an AV receiver, so no separate amplifier or distribution hardware is required.
The satellites use a 1" Tractrix horn-loaded aluminum tweeter with a 4" polypropylene woofer, and rotate and lock on their posts so coverage can be aimed at seating rather than sprayed across the yard. The 10" subwoofer can be buried in hardscape or installed above ground, with an alcove that hides wire and mounting holes for ground stakes.
Everything is IPX7 rated in UV-treated all-weather ABS and rotomolded polyethylene — rain, snow, high-pressure water and direct sun. The system expands to eight satellites and two subwoofers with the Courtyard Expansion Pack for larger areas.
