Product Details
The KI-102-SMA-II is a compact horn-loaded two-way trapezoidal loudspeaker from Klipsch Professional, built for permanent installation where fidelity matters but there is not much room to put a speaker. Restaurants, clubs, schools, houses of worship, health clubs and corporate AV production spaces are the intended homes.
It pairs an 8" K-81-ST woofer with a 1" K-103-TI-KP titanium compression driver on a K-802-M 90° x 90° modified Tractrix horn, giving 115dB continuous output and 95dB sensitivity from a cabinet 18.9" tall. The KLIP overload protection circuit guards the high-frequency driver in the real-world conditions permanent installs actually see.
The 22.5° symmetrical trapezoidal enclosure is 3/4" MDF built with CNC fabrication, dado “lock-tab” and rabbet-joint construction — a cabinet largely free of resonance and cabinet-induced coloration. Top and bottom attachment points take the optional SB-102 U-shaped mounting bracket. Klipsch KI series enclosures are made in the USA in Hope, Arkansas.
