The Klipsch IK-802-W install kit provides mounting support for Klipsch THX Ultra2 in-wall speakers and the RW-5802 in-wall subwoofer (sold separately). It is fitted to the studs before drywall, establishing the speaker position and giving the cutout a clean, square edge.
The kit includes a color-coded mud ring for quick size identification on site, a breakaway wire tie and multi-position snap-fit wings. The metal wings fasten to studs with screws, staples or nails and are ribbed for rigidity, letting a single kit span up to 24 inches.
Painted white so it disappears behind the finished wall surface.
