Product Details
The Klipsch IK-800-C install kit provides mounting support for 8" in-ceiling speakers. It is a pre-construction bracket: fitted to the studs or joists before drywall goes up, it establishes the exact speaker position and gives the cutout a clean, square edge.
It fits the Klipsch in-ceiling speakers with an 8" woofer (sold separately).
The design incorporates a mud ring, a breakaway wire tie and color-coded brackets for quick size identification on site. A flat side with a raised wall allows direct mounting to a joist, which is what makes it possible to line speakers up with lights and vents rather than wherever the bracket lands.
Perforated metal wings fasten to studs with screws, staples or nails, and are ribbed for rigidity so a single kit spans the full bay.
