KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller is a wireless keypad rated for outdoor use, so the system can be armed and disarmed at the gate or the external door rather than inside the protected area. It accepts codes, Pass cards, Tag key fobs and a smartphone over Bluetooth.
An IP66, IK08 enclosure handles dust, water and impact across −13 °F to 140 °F and up to 80% humidity. It holds one keypad code plus up to 50 user codes, 50 unregistered-user codes and 50 duress codes, and supports DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3 and ISO 14443-A credentials. Two pre-installed CR123A batteries last up to 2 years, or it can run from 10.5–14 V DC. Jeweller radio reaches 5,550 ft in open space.
Two operating modes — Security and Automation — switch with a long press of the OK button. Large mechanical buttons give clear feedback through gloves, and a homing bar helps users with visual impairments find the keys. It is EN 50131 Grade 2, environmental class IV. The SmartBracket panel lets an installer mount the device on the wall without disassembling the enclosure, and the detector pairs with the hub by scanning a QR code. Correct installation at a height of 2.4 m with the lens perpendicular to the likely intrusion path is what delivers the stated detection pattern and pet immunity. It can be reconfigured remotely from the Ajax apps without a site visit. Supplied in the white finish. Also stocked in black as 99974.286.BL3, graphite as 99975.286.GP3.
