Product Details
JunctionBox (118×59) is the mounting box for Ajax's wired IP cameras — BulletCam, DomeCam Mini and TurretCam. The camera sits on the box, and every cable termination happens inside it.
On an outdoor install this is what keeps the joint dry. A PG21 cable gland takes one or two cables through a sealing ring that closes against water and dust, and there is a grounding terminal for the earth bond. The alternative — a connector taped up behind a camera — is the thing that fails eighteen months later in a way nobody can diagnose from the ground.
Rated −40 °F to 140 °F, so it copes with a genuinely cold elevation. A mounting wire holds the lid while the installer works, which matters on a ladder. Supplied with an installation template. Supplied in the black finish; the same box in white is stocked as 88881.234.WH.
