ManualCallPoint (Blue) Jeweller is a wireless resettable call point with a programmable scenario. Pressing the frangible element fires whatever the system is configured to do — trigger an alarm, or run an automation scenario such as switching on emergency lighting, controlling ventilation, releasing electric locks, de-energizing a facility or sounding the buzzers in fire detectors.
The blue version is one of four programmable colors (blue, green, yellow and white), all functionally identical. It is not the fire call point: that is the red version, which defaults to fire alarm mode. Blue is chosen where a site needs a manual trigger that must not be mistaken for a fire alarm — which is precisely why the color matters on the wall.
The frangible element resets with the supplied key rather than needing a replacement pane, and a transparent lid shields it against accidental presses. The mechanism uses few parts by design, which is what keeps failure rates low on a device that may sit untouched for years. Two pre-installed CR123A batteries last up to 7 years at about one press per week, and Jeweller radio reaches up to 5,500 ft.
