Ajax WaterStop ¾" (DN 20) Jeweller is a wireless shutoff valve with an electric actuator that closes the water supply on command or automatically. Paired with LeaksProtect or a third-party leak detector it shuts the water within about 7 seconds of a leak being found — which is the difference between a wet floor and a flooded building.

The actuator delivers up to 8.5 N·m, enough to close a valve that has stiffened from disuse without damaging it, and works at up to 145 psi. A scenario can exercise the valve periodically to stop it sticking in the first place. Four mounting positions suit different pipe runs, and a manual emergency lever on the ISO 5211 platform closes it by hand if needed.

Four pre-installed CR123A batteries give up to 3 years, or it can run from a 7.5–14 V DC supply (9–12 V DC at 2 A recommended). The electrical section is IP66-rated against dust and humidity, and an anti-sabotage locker resists dismantling of the actuator. Jeweller radio reaches up to 3,600 ft in open space. Supplied in the white finish; the same valve in black is stocked as 65150.155.BL3.
