Product Details
TurretCam (8 Mp/4 mm) is a wired AI-powered security IP camera in a turret (eyeball) body, for indoor and outdoor use. The turret form has no dome bubble in front of the lens, which removes the internal IR reflection that washes out dome camera images at night.
The sensor is 8 MP CMOS, 1/2.8" type behind a fixed 4 mm f/1.6 lens, giving a 75–85° horizontal field of view. DORI distances are detection: 387 ft, observation: 154 ft, recognition: 79 ft, identification: 39 ft. Frame rate is linear: up to 20 fps | hdr: up to 15 fps, with resolution selectable down from the native maximum. IR illumination reaches up to 164 ft.
Authentication is passwordless over mTLS — there is no default password to be left unchanged, which is how most cheap IP cameras end up exposed. Privacy zones blank sensitive parts of the frame, access rights are set per user, and footage is encrypted in transit and on export. JetSparrow dual-stream technology keeps archive playback smooth and event filtering instant, and the recording archive is synchronised with security system events so an alarm can be reviewed as video in one step. The metal enclosure is rated IP66 and IK08 and operates from −22 °F to 140 °F. Supplied in the white finish; the same model in black is stocked as 64930.197.BL1.
