Product Details
The 12-24V PSU (type A) is a replacement power board that runs an Ajax hub or range extender from a 12 or 24 V supply instead of mains. Its input spans 8 to 32 V, and it delivers a regulated 4.8 V at up to 1.5 A.
That input range is what makes it the one to fit on vehicles, boats, and any site already wired for low-voltage DC — a 12 V leisure battery sagging to 11 V or a 24 V truck system peaking at 30 V both stay inside it. The board goes inside the enclosure in place of the bundled mains supply, so the hub looks unchanged from outside.
Note the type: this is the type A board, for Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus and ReX 2. The type B board of the same name is for the earlier Hub, Hub Plus and ReX, and the two are not interchangeable. For an input below 8 V — a portable battery pack — the 6V PSU (type A) is the right board instead.
