Product Details
Transmitter Jeweller is a module for bringing a single third-party wired device onto an Ajax system — an IR barrier, a liquid level detector, a gas leak detector, a keypad, a panic button, or anything else with an NC or NO contact. It takes the alarm on a wire and relays it to the hub over Jeweller.
Two pairs of terminal inputs handle the alarm sensor and its tamper, over cable runs up to 425 ft of 24 AWG twisted pair, in pulse or bistable mode. The module supplies 3.3 V DC at up to 125 mA to power the connected device. Three pre-installed CR123A batteries run the module itself, and Jeweller radio reaches 5,200 ft in open space.
Fourteen event types can be assigned — intrusion, fire, auxiliary alarm, panic button, gas alarm, malfunction, leakage, glass break, high and low temperature, masking, duress code, vibration and custom — so the alarm arrives labelled correctly at the monitoring station. A built-in accelerometer reports the module being moved.
