Description
Ajax 42848.90. BL Tag (100pcs) UPC black
Product Details
Ajax Tag is an encrypted contactless key fob. Held to an Ajax keypad, it arms or disarms the system without anyone typing a code — the everyday credential for staff, family and cleaners who should not be given a PIN to remember or to pass on.
The chip is DESFire on ISO 14443-A at 13.56 MHz, with Triple DES and 128-bit AES hardware encryption and protection against signal interception. That is the difference between this and a generic 125 kHz fob: the cheap kind can be cloned by anyone with a reader from a marketplace, and this cannot. These are contactless credentials, not standalone controls: they arm and disarm through an Ajax keypad that reads them. A system without a KeyPad Plus or KeyPad TouchScreen has nothing to present them to.
One Tag can be paired with up to 13 Ajax hubs at once, so a person responsible for several sites carries one fob rather than a bunch. It needs no battery and never needs charging. This pack contains 100 in black. The same Tag is stocked in white as 42850.90. WH, and in the other pack sizes as 42852.90. BL (3 pcs) and 42849.90. BL (10 pcs).
