Ajax 42840.106.BL3 ReX 2 (9NA) UPC black
Product Details
ReX 2 Jeweller is a radio signal range extender that supports alarm photo verification and an Ethernet connection. It doubles the reach between devices and the control panel, and up to five of them on one hub extend a system across roughly 35 km².
Up to 199 devices connect through a single ReX 2. Jeweller radio reaches 5,550 ft and Wings 5,600 ft; alarms reach the hub in 0.3 s, and a photo arrives in 18 s over Wings or 10 s over Ethernet. That Ethernet port is what makes it work through steel and concrete, where radio alone will not carry.
It behaves as an intelligent secondary control panel: signal power adjusts automatically, and it keeps running autonomously if the link to the hub drops. A Li-ion backup battery gives up to 24 hours with Ethernet disabled, or 12 hours with it on. Firmware updates arrive over the air. A tamper button reports unmounting, all stored and transmitted data uses block encryption with a dynamic key, and the hub authenticates each device's unique parameters at every communication session. Supplied in the black finish. The same device in white is stocked as 42841.106.WH3.
