MultiTransmitter Jeweller is an integration module that brings up to 18 third-party wired detectors onto an Ajax system. An existing wired alarm can be modernised without pulling out the detectors and rewiring the building — the panel and the app change, the field devices stay.
Eighteen zones accept NC, NO, EOL, 2EOL and 3EOL connections (2EOL and 3EOL from firmware 2.13), with EOL resistors from 1 kΩ to 15 kΩ each and 30 kΩ total, over cable runs up to 1,300 ft. Three power lines feed fire and intrusion detectors at 10.5–15 V DC up to 1 A total, and rails inside take a 4 or 7 Ah backup battery. Jeweller radio reaches 6,500 ft in open space.
Two tampers watch the casing — one for opening, one for detachment — and with EOL, 2EOL or 3EOL wiring the module detects a cut line, a short circuit or a fault instantly. Setup is by QR code, and the apps warn about connection errors rather than requiring the installer to know resistor values. A tamper button reports unmounting, all stored and transmitted data uses block encryption with a dynamic key, and the hub authenticates each device's unique parameters at every communication session.
