LeaksProtect Jeweller is a wireless water leak detector that monitors 24/7 and reports an escape of water before it becomes damage. It is small enough to sit behind a washing machine, under a sink or beside a boiler, which is where leaks actually start.
Contact pairs on all four sides detect water arriving from any direction, and detection takes 0.15 s. The IP65 enclosure tolerates up to 100% humidity and an operating range of 32 °F to 122 °F. Two pre-installed AAA batteries last up to 5 years, and Jeweller radio reaches up to 4,250 ft in open space.
Up to 250 detectors can run in a single Ajax system, so a whole building's wet areas are covered from one hub. A leak can trigger Ajax WaterStop Jeweller to close the supply automatically, which turns a notification into an actual stopped flood. No mounting or tools are needed: the detector sits on a horizontal surface wherever a leak would first appear. It pairs with the hub by scanning a QR code and is configured remotely from the Ajax apps. Supplied in the black finish. The same device in white is stocked as 42818.08.WH3.
