HomeSiren Jeweller is an indoor wireless siren that does more than sound an alarm. It also works as a security status indicator, sounds a chime when a door opens while the system is disarmed, and shows entry and exit delays and after-alarm state on its LED.
Alarm volume is adjustable from 80 to 100 dB at 3.3 ft, defaulting to 93 dB, with a siren frequency of 3.4 ± 0.5 kHz and a duration from 3 seconds to 3 minutes. Jeweller radio reaches up to 6,500 ft in open space and two pre-installed CR123A batteries last up to 5 years.
A third-party LED can be wired in parallel at 3 V DC to put an indicator somewhere the siren itself is not — over a door, say, or behind a counter. Mount it indoors at 8.2 ft or higher, out of easy reach. The SmartBracket panel lets an installer mount the device on the wall without disassembling the enclosure, and the detector pairs with the hub by scanning a QR code. Correct installation at a height of 2.4 m with the lens perpendicular to the likely intrusion path is what delivers the stated detection pattern and pet immunity. It can be reconfigured remotely from the Ajax apps without a site visit. Supplied in the black finish. The same device in white is stocked as 42809.11.WH3.
