DoubleButton Jeweller is a wireless hold-up device that requires both buttons to be pressed together before it raises an alarm. A plastic divider between them means a knock, a dropped bag or a sleeve cannot do it — which is why this, rather than a single button, is the device for a till, a pharmacy counter or a reception desk where a false hold-up alarm means an unnecessary dispatch.
An alarm can be confirmed by one DoubleButton or by several, and pressing it can trigger an automation scenario as well as the alarm. The LED backlight brightness is set in the Ajax apps. The pre-installed CR2032 battery lasts up to 5 years and Jeweller radio reaches 1,000 ft in open space.
The IP55 enclosure resists dust and splashes, and the buttons are built for thousands of presses. A tamper button reports unmounting, all stored and transmitted data uses block encryption with a dynamic key, and the hub authenticates each device's unique parameters at every communication session. Supplied in the white finish. The same device in black is stocked as 42801.79.BL3.
