Takeover Module Jeweller lets an Ajax hub adopt the wireless detectors a site already has. It listens on 319.5 MHz, 345 MHz and 433 MHz and speaks four protocols, so devices from Qolsys, Interlogix, Honeywell, Resideo, 2GIG, AT&T and DSC appear in the Ajax apps alongside Ajax's own.
That changes the economics of a replacement job. Instead of stripping out and rebinding every door contact and motion detector in a building, the panel is replaced and the existing wireless devices — up to 80 of them, within about 650 ft — carry on reporting through the module. The upgrade happens at the control end, and the field devices are replaced later, or not at all.
Worth being clear about scope: this module takes over third-party wireless devices on those three frequencies. It is not a wired-zone expander and does not accept hardwired loops. It runs on 12 V⎓ up to 1 A, with a built-in 1.8 Ah Li-ion battery holding it up for about 24 hours through a power cut, and reaches the hub at up to 6,550 ft. Jeweller is Ajax's own two-way radio protocol: encrypted with a dynamic key, frequency-hopping to ride out interference, and continuously polled so a lost device is flagged within 36 seconds rather than going quiet unnoticed. Supplied in the black finish; the same module in white is stocked as 168369.365.WH3.
