NVR H2DAC (16-ch) is a network video recorder with a 4K HDMI output and two hot-swappable drive bays. A failed disk can be pulled and replaced without powering the unit down, so recording never stops for a service break — which is the difference between a gap in the archive and no gap at all.
It records 16 channels from Ajax cameras and third-party IP cameras over ONVIF and RTSP. Two SATA III bays take drives up to 16 TB each, hot-swappable. Gigabit Ethernet and 160 Mbps of bandwidth in each direction. Three USB 2.0 ports. Power is mains 100–240 V. This model has no PoE ports — the H2D8PAC and H2D16PAC versions add them. JetSparrow dual-stream technology keeps archive navigation fast and the transfer encrypted, and the recording archive is synchronized with security system events, so an alarm can be reviewed as footage in one step rather than by hunting through a timeline.
Access rights are set per user, footage export carries a digital signature verified by Ajax Media Player, and account security covers two-factor authentication, session control and biometric login. The SmartBracket mounting panel installs the recorder without disassembling the enclosure and carries a tamper that reports removal. Firmware updates arrive over the air. Supplied in the white finish; the same recorder in black is stocked as 160687.122.BL3.
