Curtain Outdoor Mini Jeweller is the slimline curtain detector — 5.71″ long and 1.26″ deep, small enough to sit in a window reveal, under a sill or along a door frame where the full-size Curtain Outdoor would be conspicuous or simply would not fit.
It keeps the dual-technology principle: one PIR sensor and one 24 GHz K-band microwave sensor, both of which must agree. The field is 15° horizontal and 100° vertical, reaching 16.4 ft at a 3.3 ft mounting height, with five sensitivity levels rather than three — a finer adjustment for the tight, close-range installations this detector is built for.
It can also be ceiling-mounted at up to 16.4 ft to drop a curtain across an opening. Anti-masking, an accelerometer and a tamper alarm cover sabotage; IP55 and −13 °F to 140 °F cover the weather; two pre-installed CR123A cells cover about three years. Jeweller is Ajax's own two-way radio protocol: encrypted with a dynamic key, frequency-hopping to ride out interference, and continuously polled so a lost device is flagged within 36 seconds rather than going quiet unnoticed.
