Hub BP Jeweller is a battery-powered control panel for sites with no mains supply: vacant buildings, construction sites, remote plant and anywhere the power is not on yet. It runs entirely on battery and reports over two SIM cards, so a site can be protected before it is energised.
Capacity is up to 100 Ajax devices, 50 users, 9 security groups, 50 rooms, 32 automation scenarios and a 1,000-event log, with Jeweller radio reaching 6,550 ft in open space. Two micro-SIM slots cover 2G, 3G and LTE with channel switching in up to 4 minutes. Photo verification arrives in about 9 seconds at up to 960 × 720 px.
Autonomy is the point: up to 18 months in full mode on external batteries, and more than 5 years in battery-saving mode. It is Security Grade 2, alarm transmission category SP5. A tamper button reports unmounting, all stored and transmitted data uses block encryption with a dynamic key, and the hub authenticates each device's unique parameters at every communication session.
