Ajax DoorBell is a 4 MP video doorbell with a 155° field of view, two-way audio and onboard AI that sorts what it sees into people, pets and vehicles — so the phone rings for a visitor and stays quiet for a passing car.
It carries a PIR sensor as well as AI frame analysis, which means it registers an approach before anyone presses the button, and smart IR illumination lights the doorway to 20 ft after dark. Video runs over JetSparrow, Ajax's peer-to-peer encrypted stream, with Wi-Fi as the primary link and Jeweller and Wings standing by as backup — a doorbell that keeps reporting when the Wi-Fi drops. It is ONVIF Profile S conformant, so it also fits a third-party recording setup.
This is wired doorbell hardware, not a battery unit: it takes 12–24 V DC or 16–24 V AC, draws 10 W, and holds a 600 mAh Li-ion cell for continuity rather than as its power source. The transformer must suit the current table in the specifications: driving an existing mechanical chime needs appreciably more current than running the doorbell alone. Supplied in the black finish; the same doorbell is stocked in the other finishes as 116889.125. WH3 (white), 116887.125. GP3 (graphite), 116888.125. GR3 (grey).
