Product Details
The 12V PSU for NVR is a replacement power board that runs an Ajax network video recorder from a low-voltage DC source rather than mains. It fits inside the NVR enclosure in place of the bundled supply and delivers a regulated 12 V at up to 2 A.
It has two input modes, set by a jumper. Without the jumper it accepts 8 to 16 V and switches on at 8 V — the setting for squeezing the last usable charge out of a battery. With the jumper it accepts 12.1 to 16 V and switches off at 10.35 V, which protects a lead-acid battery from being run flat enough to damage it. Which one to use is a decision about the battery, not the recorder.
Maximum input draw is 4 A when the output is delivering its full 2 A. Indoor duty, 32 to 104 °F, IP20.
